Greetings from the Institute for Sustainable Development & Governance (ISDG)!
With the aim of understanding the progress towards achieving Sustainable development Goals in our state and nation, Institute for Sustainable Development and Governance has initiated a series of Advocacy Dialogue meetings focusing on each of the 17 goals (SDGs).
We have already organised three such meetings. Members of the Planning Board, Dr. Raviraman, Dr. Eqbal, Shri. Mridul Eapen, other experts like Dr .Rajan Gurukkal, Dr. Achuthsankar etc. had been our speakers in the previous advocacy dialogues on SDGs. Experts in the areas of public policy, civil society and media will also participate in the meeting.
The next advocacy dialogue will be held on Thursday, April 19th 2018 at 3 pm at ISDG Centre, Golf Links.
The topics of our next advocacy dialogue are:
Goal No.6- Clean Water & Sanitation : Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
&
Goal No.11- Sustainable cities and communities:- make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
Shri. John Samuel, Executive Director, Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development and Shri. Subhash Chandra Boss, Suchitwa Mission will be speaking on the topics.
