Dr Abraham George is the former Principal of Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla; the first NAAC
accredited college in Kerala. He is a PhD holder in Economics. Since 2005, he has been
serving as an assessor of higher education institutions in India by being in the Peer Team of
the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Currently, he leads the Research team in ISDG and under him, ISDG conducted a research
and advocacy study on the Future of India’s Development Cooperation and India’s Development
Cooperation in Sri Lanka proposed by Oxfam India.
Vineet John Samuel, a public policy researcher, is currently pursuing his PhD at the Hertie School (Hertie School of Governance until 2019). He was educated at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and the National Law School of India University. He was an awardee of the German Chancellors Fellowship 2021.
As a Fellow with the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, he studies the gig economy, digital platform regulation and the future of work. Prior to his arrival at the Hertie School, Vineet was the Asia Democracy Network Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research in NewDelhi and has written extensively on issues of social policy, tech regulation and public finance.
Zuhail Sainudeen holds two Bachelor's degrees, one in Chemistry and another in Electrical Engineering as well as a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the USA. He has published several papers in technical areas and has worked in Industry in both testing and research and development. At ISDG, he has contributed to the Urban Governance report as well as People & Policy Issue on Cyber governance.
Since 2020 he has been pursuing the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) MicroMasters Program in Statistics and Data Science on the EDX platform.
He is our Project Coordinator for the Saksham Livelihood Project supported by Plan India.
Avinash has previously worked on a research study, proposed by Oxfam India, on the various aspects of India's Development Cooperation initiatives with Sri Lanka. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from Loyola College, Chennai. He has also worked on research studies on local governance and budgeting.
Rajalekshmi holds a Master’s degree in Economics. She is trained in computerised financial accounting and she is proficient in Tally accounting software.
She is currently serving as the Accounts & Administrative Assistant of ISDG.
Sunil Kumar serves as the communication associate and is experienced in clerical, secretarial and office administrative work. He is also part of the advocacy and media team.
